The Author
Mek grew up in Corvos, but is hesitant to tell people that. She usually just says “The Beach.” The family unit was quite small, the community barely any larger. Her childhood was full of joy, but a bit sheltered.
Now that she has set off on her own adventure, Mek is determined to make it count. Every experience is a lesson and fuels her desire to have another one.The story she writes is anything but sheltered, though. It’s filled with war and love, and mythical beings that live along side our world in the fringes.Her prior pen name is a closely guarded secret since she finds her early works to be a bit embarrassing, but they were still a source of pride.

She may be colorblind.Having made friends with a group of Ishgardian Knights, Mek is learning how to defend herself.She has experienced no great loss or tragedy, and because of this she struggles to write about it.Mek has also never experienced love, and this has come up frequently in conversation.
